California's End of Life Option Act taken to the Supreme Court

Saturday, January 12, 2019

After last November the Fourth District Court of Appeal overturned the District Court decision nullifying the End of Life Option Act, the opponents of California's End of Life Option Act have taken their lawsuit now to the highest level in the state: on January 8 they have petitioned the California Supreme Court to review last year's Fourth Court of Appeal decision denying them standing in the case.

Though these doctors can opt out of prescribing medications under the Act, with no repercussions, they argue the law harms them somehow.
