Rectification on earlier Human Rights Court decision

The European Court of Human Rights has withdrawn its criticism of Switzerland's assisted suicide laws after it emerged an octogenarian who filed the initial complaint had duped both the court and her lawyer in the case.  As reported on this website some month's ago, the court called on Swiss Government to clarify assisted suicide law. Comment from Switzerland:  many Swiss found it ridiculous that the European court wanted to force Switzerland to make new rules on the right-to-die after these laws have worked perfectly for many decades. They  agreed with the government who went to the next higher level to overrule the courts decision. It became rather clear that the original ruling will not withstand and will have to be cancelled.
