Dutch minister announces ruling about ‘active termination of life’ for younger children

On Oktober 13, Dutch Health minister Hugo de Jonge announced that he plans to make it possible to help terminally sick children aged between one and 12 to die, in limited circumstances.

That is what the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the guardian of Catholic doctrine, wrote in a new letter "Samaritanus Bonus". The letter was personally approved by Pope Francis.
