On 26 June 2019 the End of Life Choices Bill passed a second reading in the New Zealand House of Representatives. As bills are rarely rejected at this stage, this might be very good news for terminally ill citizens and permanents residents in New Zealand.

South Australia has restarted activities towards an End-of-Life Choices act: a Joint Committee on End of Life Choices has been established, which is now calling for submissions (just a few lines, or as long as you like). SAVES (South Australian WF member) calls for help in this: submissions are more than welcome, they may come from everywhere around the globe; deadline is August 2, 2019.
